“I've been here many times. Maybe more than 20 or 30 times. And it used to be the BEST place around to get sushi. Service was quick and friendly, the food was reliably good, and it wasn't too crowded most of the time. Here recently though it feels as if there has been a bit of a decline. It's not bad by any means. It's just that the food isn't as reliably amazing (it's still pretty good most of the time) and the service is occasionally almost unbearably slow. And that was a few trips there in a row. But I still would recommend it as a place to go. Again it's usually really good, just not always.”

“First I have to say that the loaded mashed potatoes are the best mashed potatoes I ever had. I would love to bring a bucket of those to a party. Second thing that made me super happy was when the girls danced when a particular song came on. It was so cute! The third was that the steak I ordered was so tender! I was super impressed at the skill they have at cooking great meat. I was with a large group so we did have to wait in the waiting area a bit but it was so worth it. Plus they have peanuts to munch on while you wait. Awesome place!”

The delivery guy Aaron actually was able to pick up on this while delivering the order. He pulled me aside and mentioned that we would need another 20 sandwiches and more salad and soup. “I remember when burgers at 5 guys were considered a great value. Holy cow was I surprised when I ordered a bacon burger and it was $9.19. I swear the Michigan 5 Guys have a single and double burger option, where as here in VA they were called like small or mini and regular burger, which I didn't realize was a double. It is still a great burger and large since it is a double but pricing for a burger only from fast food, just seems very high, especially with no fries or drink.”

“The food was great. Fresh, hot and delicious! Was disappointed, because they have special prices in the afternoon, until 5 p.m. We were stuck in a long drive thru line, so we backed out, turned around and parked. My daughter ran in and ordered for our carload. When she paid, it was 5:01 p.m. and she had to pay full menu price for the 6 of us. Luckily, they're food is reasonably priced and worth the price she paid.”

“I absolutely love this place! The food here is fantastic. One--because of their bread. Basically anything with it is my favorite. Two-- because they are super creative while still being homey and delicious. Get the tomato soup, you wont regret it. If you are visiting from out of town, this is a must stop. If you are local it's such an easy place to want to be a regular at because somehow it feels like home. Also, they have a monthly pop-up dinner which you should HIGHLY consider going to. A small group of people all get to sit together at one big long table while chef Seth brings out course after course of stunning seasonal delights. It really does give you the sense of belonging to a greater community and honestly it just tastes really freaking good.”
