Mekong Restaurant

I was in town for a last minute trip. Met a buddy here for a snack and beers. We shared some calamari which was just cooked to perfection and served with a nice dipping sauce. It was a huge portion.

This place is known for its beer and they have a ton of options on draft and in bottles and cans. Closing time was 10 during the week but they stayed open a good bit longer while the folks already there finished up. I would go back in a heartbeat. Beer really is the Answer.

Great selection of craft beers and liquor. Homey atmosphere and friendly staff.

Large and diverse menu of many authentic Vietnamese dishes and deserts.

They do offer takeout.

Sports available at the bar and tvs on some of the back walls for regular dining room viewing.

Food is amazing and the beer selection is even better. Very unique in that it’s one of the best craft beer bars in America and also a legit Vietnamese restaurant

I ordered the calamari as an appetizer. I got thin slices of cat fish and calamari. I noticed after I had taken couple of bites ...I was hungry and just went for it. The catfish was good but I ordered Calamari. As my main course I had a sliced beef with vegetables and a spicy basil spicy sauce it was ok. I think the quality of beef should better. It should be more of a stir fry beef rather than thinly sliced roast beef that looks more like it has been boiled than fried. I have been to Mekong before and had the calamari I will return!
