Member for 6 years. I think the new manager is great and the new pools are going to be awesome. Best dining room staff ever
I play cards there every month and love their lunch of salad and half sandwich. Oodles of goodies. Last time, since on carb free diet, I had there burger and salad. Awesome !!
My kids really enjoy the tennis club here, food is awesome and staffs are super nice and family friendly. My only wish is that remodeling the club to more contemporary designs.
Service was slow. My dinner & the dinner of another guest at my table were the last served because somone at another table decided they wanted what we were having instead of what they pre ordered. So, our 2 dinners had to be cooked at the last minute. Then we had the same problem with dessert & my friend took hers home in a box. The food quality & taste were adequate. It was not up to their previous reputation.
As far as my using the facilities at this club, I have thus far only been at the swimming pool so I will write a review on that. As a nanny, I have over the years been to many different association and neighborhood pool facilities and each have their good and bad points. This club is very different because its in a unique location and its hours of operation are very member friendly. The pool is open very early in the year so for the cooler days before Spring the pool is heated. Also it is open much later in the day so it is great for families to use after their work day. The staff is friendly and I will say, from what I have seen so far of all the pools EVER, the lifeguards are a great reason to want to bring your children here. They are focused on their job, alert, and they don't slack during slower, less busy times by sitting around and playing on their phone which I have seen at nearly EVERY other swimming pool I have been to. As irritating as certain rules restrictions can be for the people that use the pool, I understand and appreciate why they have them and to me it is very valuable to have the rules that are in place being followed and enforced by these young lifeguards who are alert enough to call out and stop less obvious rule breaking amongst a very busy and large pool. The powers that be seem to want ALL members using their facilities to have an enjoyable experience not just the children. I would say earlier in the summer, the later afternoon would not be a time to visit for quiet and relaxation since they have swim team that practices and uses a large part of the pool but there are many other amenities there to enjoy. There is a snack bar with an enclosed eating area, a very nice playground, many tennis courts nearby, a lot of beautiful landscaping and seating areas in the shade and in the sun. They have an outdoor bar and a baby pool. The main pool also has a section with a couple steps that lead into the below knee deep beach entry, and this is great for toddlers. A lot of activity and events take place here and its a great place to join if you are a young athletic couple or a family with kids. The are a lot of options to be involved in teams and probably even more activities and aspects that I just don't know about yet. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because you are not allowed to bring a cooler inside the pool area and I have always like having cold drinks nearby .
