Nice family run restaurant. Have only been here for breakfast but it has always been good. We had a large group and they handled us with no problems.
Boychick's is always bustling & the waitresses are efficient, friendly & professional. The food is fresh & freat tasting. I love the grilled bologna burger, the Sailor, Reuben, chicken liver - it's all great. Today I had a knackwurst sandwich that was delicious.
Four of us visited Boychiks Deli to celebrate Father's Day breakfast a gift to my husband by our son h daughter-in-law. Eventhough it was a special day we didn't have to wait long. The waitress was efficient but a bit distant & their oatmeal is instant with hot that wasn't hot enough to render the oatmeal edible, my opinion, skip it. Now on to their eggs (over medium & scrambled), bacon, omelet, corn beef hash, home fries, bagel, toast & biscuit with gravy; all were delicious. The home fries were beautifully browned with onions and not greasy at all! By the end of the meal even our waitress was warming up & we got some smiles, yay! Go enjoy Boychiks Deli if you're in the Short Pump area.
Great food, good atmosphere, friendly and outgoing staff. The restaurant is almost always filled up, but there's usually a table available within a few minutes, even during their busiest parts of the day. I usually get a sandwich - my go-to is the BLT. The bacon is thick cut with just the right amount of crispy on the edges and chewy in the center. My wife gets breakfast, or a Reuben, and has never had any complaints. The kitchen is pretty quick. A good local alternative to all the chains surrounding it.
"The food is good, the service is excellent and the feel of the place is unique"
When you walk in, you see many advertisements for local businesses in true old country diner fashion. The food is good, well made and filling. They deliver and they do take out. Overall a good place for breakfast in the Innsbrook area.
One issue I have with the place is the lighting. I wish the place can be a little brighter, as I think it will be more inviting!
