Carrabba's Italian Grill

Darkkkkkkkk. Oh so dark interior lighting which is fine at night for the lounge effect, but pretty drab during the day. Food was very good, however, though we nearly had to use our cell phone lights to eat. Nice wait person.

Had a large party of 21. They did a good job serving us in a timely manner. The manager informed us that after baking the lasagna it did not reach a acceptable internal temperature and offered us a substitute (party had mixed opinions on the substitute). While dissapointed I didn't get the meal I wanted I appreciated the level of quality control.

Manager and server were very friendly.
Food was good.
Restaurant was clean
Restroom was acceptable.

Was with a group for the wine tasting dinner. Awesome! Food and wine was amazing. They give descriptions of wine and great service.

Update 6/29/2019 3 Hostesses -5 (NEGATIVE 5), Food and Waitress 5, mathematically equals a 0.

We arrived at the Carrabbas's Short Pump at approximately 8:00pm on Saturday, 6/29/2019. There was no wait. I entered and was stared at by 3 hostesses.

Me: Hello
3 Hostesses: Silent stare
Me: (irritated by lack of customer service) Would you like to help me?
Hostess: We said, "Hello, we were waiting for you to tell us how many."!!!!!
(I am over 50 and I have never had such a greeting.)
Me: (even more irritated) usually you ask the customer, how many?
Hostess: We said hello.
Me: (Furious) It is the custom in this country that you ask the customer if you can help them and how many people are in their party.

Well it was all resolved by a new waitress named Passion. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. All of the food was exactly as ordered, hot and delicious.

Went there tonight around 8pm. The place was dead - there were about 6 people in the place. It's nice and new inside. I sat at the bar. The bartender was nice enough and kept my water filled. The utensils were not wiped - spots all over them. I ended up wiping them with my napkin. The food was fresh and delicious. I had to ask for bread. I had to ask for cheese. I felt like I was putting them out by asking for something that should be standard. The service was pretty slow and the bartender was gone most of the time. Not sure I'll be back - too many other places around this area to try.
