Full Kee Restaurant

Full Kee has been around in Richmond for a long time, they were here in 1999 when I first moved here. Very authentic Hong Kong/ Cantonese food. Best dim sum in town, they are served as how it was in southern China. People push carts filled with little dishes around the restaurant, you can see and pick what you want to eat. Price varies based on the size of the dish. They are not very expensive. It is a good idea to go in a group of three or four people, so you can try as many dishes as you can. Most dishes contains two, three or four pieces in them. You don’t have to go all the way to New York Chinatown to get dim sum.

I'm so glad I found this place. I've had a lot of dissapointing experiences with Chinese food in Richmond but this place turned it all around for me. Great dumplings and the exact "nice hole in the wall" aesthetic that marks a good Chinese food place.

I have been going for a long time for dim sum. Sometimes it can get a little crowded and chaotic. Generally their dim sum is excellent and fresh. Lots of variety. The duck is good. It is an easy way to try lots of food you have never experienced before. Compared to many other places far and wide for dim sum, it is pretty good.
