The wait staff is always top shelf. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. We love coming here, and it's one of our favorites in the area. However, things to improve would be the kitchen/quality of food and the selection of soft drinks. When the kitchen is on, it's on baby! The food is OUTSTANDING. BUT...when the kitchen is off, EVERYTHING is impacted. Would be a five-star place if they could fix the inconsistencies in the food.
We absolutely loved this new find. We were visiting my family in Carrollton, VA & they took us to this place. Pictured is our sampler - the mozzarella sticks were huge and delicious. Every worker person enjoyed their meal. We also had the chicken pot pie, the pretzel bites, burgers and more. All were delicious. If you go, don’t miss out on the mozzarella sticks. Yum yum! We also enjoyed their house made sauces! The waitress was very friendly and we had good service.
Be advised that they have 3 doors, but going down the hill the first 2 are exits only. We didn't realize and got some weird looks. Nevertheless, we seated and got good service with good beer and food. We got the pulled pork with the tangy sauce. That and fried pickles were a good size portion for 2 people.
Wow! Good food good service. Not to expensive with a lot of history
Our waitress was Tricia. She was very knowledgeable about menu and history of Wharf Hill Brewery. All around excellent in every way
Looking forward to our next visit.
Great food reasonably priced. Not much parking. Lemonade tasted like dishwater. Nice decor. Waitress helpful and kept glasses filled. Prices need to be clearly listed instead of hidden until the check comes. Fried oysters, succotash and squash/zucchini was excellent.
