Toby's Dog House

So delicious! Staff was super friendly. We came for a late lunch after visiting Jamestown and wanted to try something local. We ordered the Junkyard and the Carolina Dingo with potato salad, macaroni salad and baked beans. The hit dogs were so good! We definitely could have stuck with one hot dog each as two each way a bit much and we were stuffed. So glad to have found this place!

You might think this is just another hot dog stand....nope! Much more. Great food. Plenty of seating. Grab a beer and a dog. Or get it to go. Great local place to eat!

This is the place if you love hotdogs. There's a whole menu of traditional and creative combinations with delicious sides and local craft beers. The prices will make you say, "hot dog!". Very kid AND dog friendly.

I love the food at Toby's Dog House & am happy to support the Dog House as well as the Carrot Tree, but more than once I've had issues with service. Just called at 3:29 to order takeout (I live across the street), took them 2 mins to answer the phone and tell me they closed at 3:30. Which I understand, but if it were me, I'd be happy to take the additional sale. They did ask which website incorrectly informed me they were open until 4, which was google, so I updated it for them.
When I get takeout, the order is usually prepared incorrectly, so you have to check your order before leaving, and I've had issues with employees not knowing opening hours, whether or not takeout was permitted, etc., but the food is very good, just wish they were a little more organized!

Very good hot dogs with wide selection of toppings. All their chips and sides that we ordered were excellent as well. Very affordable too. We got 6 hot dogs, drinks and sides between 3 of us for less than $25! We will be going back when we are in the area next year
