Stonehouse Grill

First of all, the food was great! My family and I didn't order anything too extravagant like steak or alcohol, so we didn't end up spending all that much.

Our server was kind and attentive, the philly I ordered was delicious, the brussel sprouts were crispy and coated in a lovely, lightly sweet sauce, the waffle fries were crispy...

I do have three complaints though.

We ordered the pretzel and cheese dip for the table, and while it was also good, it was really greasy...also the salt was pretty all-over-the-place on it, with some parts of the pretzel having none at all. Loved the presentation of it, as well as the cheese dips however.

The atmosphere is a bit lacking on the dining room-half of the building...in the bar-half, there's at least rocky walls to contrast the very one-color walls, but there wasn't anything to really look at aside from the golf course outside.

And the menu...while the variety is *great*, it's just not descriptive enough. The MacDoogle is a burger, but is described as "american, lettuce, pickles, onion, special sauce".

Also, no side dishes are listed as included with any entree, but for sandwiches, waffle fries are included, and can be substituted for any other side they offer.

Overall it was a pleasant experience, but the lack of clarity on the menu was iffy. None of my complaints were *major*, so I give it 4/5. The sign might still say "Virginia Grill" outside, but it *is* Stonehouse Grill.

The menu has updated some but still tasty and lots of options. The decor is nice and modern. Wait staff is great. The mahi tacos are large good portion same with the steak and cheese. The BLAT our friend had looked and she said tasted great.
