Saturday evening dinner. First time to try the Tavern,after driving by several times. Attentive waitress. Enjoyed stuffed shrimp appetizer, along with some.warm bread. Our table tried 3 different salads, all fresh and very good. All 3 entrees were excellent....shrimp and grits, scallops over a creamy, vegetable sauce, and meat loaf. We look forward to going back.

Delicious food! Great menu selection, bread was divine. Definitely recommend saving some room for dessert...peach cobbler topped with a scoop of ice cream was the perfect way to end the meal! Kudos on the service!

Upon arrival, there was only one other customer. It was very cold in the dining room making it hard to enjoy our meal. We started with oysters Rockefeller. Delicious but presentation was subpar. Instead of being served on the half shell on a platter, they were served in a muffin pan. I had the seafood platter broiled but requested my oysters to be fried. They were very accommodating. However, Service was very slow especially considering it was vacant.
