“Newly renovated Tides Inn, great room with 5 star amenities. Loved the pool area with no extra charge cabanas, loved drinks by the pool. Dinner at the Chesapeake Room was excellent. The thing we didn't like was being awakened by construction noise at 7:15 in the morning. After spending $1000 for a 1 night stay with dinner and drinks, sleeping in would have been nice since it was an adult getaway. We let the front desk know and left a review letting management know. We were contacted via email and offered a 2 night stay if we would talk to them about our stay. We thought that was awesome. We scheduled a phone call, however, no one called. I emailed to verify they had my correct number. They apologized and we scheduled another call. To this day, we never received the phone call or the gift certificate. It is a nice place to get away but no follow through.”

In Kilmarnock Travel z ranked it worst PH in Virginia With that said my experience at Little Ceasars although not perfect and could always be quicker and this and that but ...... “We ate at the little restaurant and I totally recommend the truffle fries. It was quiet. Staff was pleasant and food was good. My sister said that other than being a little pricey, it was great. She loved the fried oysters. We saw a 3D movie and if I didn't like the movie, I could have slept in those luxurious seats for days”

“Sadly, the winery was closed, but a local restauranteer suggested we ask at the Hope and Glory Inn, also owned by the winery proprietor, if we could purchase his wine there. While he didn't have the wine there to buy, he suggested that he personally take us to the winery to allow us to choose! What a lovely, uncommon courtesy that was in this day and age! I will tell you that when I return to this area, I will stay at the inn and engage in the full winery experience! I highly recommend you visit the inn after the winery moves there. The owner has wonderful events planned, and the inn itself is a lovely historic house with a saltwater pool. I give the owner of these two businesses a huge thumbs-up for good, old-fashioned friendliness and service!”

“The view is spectacular from the outdoor seating area! I love that there is a private beach for customers as well! After our meal we were able to walk along the beach and my children were able to collect shells and enjoy the sand and small waves. We were seated outside and it was Sunday brunch, so they were relatively busy. The food was amazing, though! I had the Route 3 and others in my party tested the burgers and shrimp po boy sandwich. The waffle fries were gone as soon as they hit the table. My children also enjoyed their meals. We all left very happy! We will definitely be returning soon!”

“I retried 606 tonight giving it another chance.. they seem to be now more in their groove. The waitress was new but she tried and did fine. We ordered sandwiches and both the order and the food were promptly handled. I had the pork which was a bit over cooked but pleasantly filled the sub roll and it came with fries, as did my friends exotic sounding chicken sub, which a bit more chicken n sauce would have helped. The back room has a sports vibe and seems more chill n active than other areas. Guys will like watching tons of different sports in screens as they chow down.”

“Took my wife here last night for a nice dinner. Everything was delicious! We both got the spinach salad with fried oysters, shared the buffalo shrimp special, and my wife got the Spanish Mackerel special and I got the Ribeye. The Spanish Mackerel was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. If my steak wasn’t equally as good, I would have been disappointed that I didn’t order the special as well. Service was unmatched also. Thanks for a great evening, guys! Will be back, and will highly recommend to others!”
