(July 16, 2019, 10:08 pm)Great food, great service! The meatloaf is wonderful, the brisket is super, the chicken salad is so tasty! The whole menu makes your taste buds water and everything is homemade. Eat well, but remember to leave room for dessert!

(June 19, 2019, 1:02 am)Outstanding. Granted I'm not from the south so I don't have the BEST palette, but wow. I took down two plates easily (because of hunger and taste, NOT portion size). Extremely friendly owners too.

(March 6, 2019, 5:22 pm)I was back visiting VMI and stopped by to see if anything had changed. Thankfully the pulled pork is still just as delicious as I remember and the folks that run the cafe are some of the nicest people I've ever met. The banana pudding is fantastic as well!

(March 5, 2019, 9:07 pm)We like BeameupBBQ because the BBQ is really lean, moist and flavorful. You can choose between 3 types of sauces, which are all really good. Their coleslaw is good too.
