Special occasion dinner. I was underwhelmed with the food for the premium price. Steaks were ok (would prefer an outback steak rather than theirs), portion size on sides are small, service was cheerful and adept, drinks were good. I wont go back. If I'm looking for a high end steak house experience I'll stick with DC Prime, Capitol Grill, and Ruth's Chris.
The wife and I had an amazing dinner here. The steaks were delicious and the sides were amazing. Chris, our server, seemed to be a perfect match for the restaurant. A low deep voice, with a nice beard. He knew his steaks as well and was very attentive without being overly intrusive in our dinner. The complimentary valet was a nice touch. Also, I respected the honesty of the the valet when he said he had never driven a Tesla before. (Brand drop) he let me leave out front and I made sure I compensated for the primo parking. Overall, it was a great experience.
The food, ambiance and staff are really topnotch. The steaks are cooked perfectly and the flavors...just wow. The cocktails are very unique and tasty. This awesome restaurant is in a newer shopping complex with quite a few stores, restaurants and an Alamo Draft House theater. Great place to spend a snow day in the DC area. Thanks!
Update:
Added a star after a great Christmas Eve meal with awesome service.
Seems they are on an upward swing.

The service and management were good. Unfortunately they misheard what I ordered and brought me the wrong steak . Not a big deal but when they brought the right steak it was raw (purple with white fat) they took it back to correct it and it came back again slightly more done with white fat still. They finally got to a proper mid rare but the same piece of meat recooked had no seasoning left and had lost some of the juice. Both other diners were happy and satisfied.
Not a hamburger joint. I don't know why they show a hamburger in the pictures, this is more of an upscale steak place. The steak that I had was melt-in-your-mouth meat cooked to perfection. Overall though the meal was a little bland, there were plain mashed potatoes and cooked broccoli with the plate with no flavoring for either. Wonderful steak really, really good but the rest was not as exciting as other comfortable restaurants
