Slapfish

I really wanted to like this place - the area needs more affordable fish restaurants. But both times I went, the fish entree was grossly over-salted and I was unable to taste anything else. They need to add an unsweetened tea to their beverages. At least I assume so, the teas were not labeled for sugar content and all the ones I sampled tasted sweet.

Good toasty bread to lobster ratio...not too buttery/oily and not drenched in mayo. I substituted fries for salad. Fried fish and chip is super crispy! Pricey but very good and fast service. Would go back!

I think this place is great! I ordered the fish and chips and it was a big portion but it was also delicious. It’s great for a quick meal with quality food. The pricing is reasonable for what you are getting and the taste is great! I will definitely come back.

Fresh seafood, enthusiastic staff, nice environment. Eating at Slap Fish was a dream come true after following them for several years on social media.

Believe the hype. This place is amazing.

Honestly I haven’t seen anything like this on the East coast. This place is amazing! I’ve come with friends several times, everything we’ve had here is delicious and incredibly fresh. My favorite is the power bowl!! Though a friend got the lobster grilled cheese and it looked so good I’m going to have to come back and get that next time! The service is fast, price is great and everyone is so nice. You can either eat there or get it to go. My office is 7 min from this place so I’ve gone on lunch breaks and brought it back. Slapfish, you are now part of my monthly budget! (Also side note: my mom is gluten free and can eat SO many things on this menu, I’m bringing her here next time she visits!)
