“The food was pretty good...but I got a fountain drink (coke) and it tasted...funny...kind of moldy...so I'm guessing the dispenser caps and dispensers arent being cleaned properly, so that should be looked into. I switched out my drink and went with sweet tea. Other than that.. ????”

“All the food is homemade cooked and he uses the best cheese there is on his pizzas. The wings can be breaded or fried, and the naked wing come in hot, mild, and BBQ. The hamburgers are real hamburger meat, and the pizza dough is homemade. The pizza is not greasy, and you can take home and reheat, and it taste just as good. The fish and shrimp is mouth watering. All the fries and chips are homemade and do not even need ketchup that they taste so good.”

Everything is made from scratch and lots of local ingredients are used. The fried chicken is crispy and moist and the homemade rolls are amazing. The desserts are made by cooks who know how tobake a tasty pie. This restaurant is a trip back in time when a great deal of care was taken to prepare wholesome, delicious food. I have eaten here many times throughout my life. I always stop here when I visit Virginia. This place is the real thing.”
