Richardson’s Cafe

Food was excellent, service was friendly and quick. 50s decor delightful. A true find and great trip back through memory lane.

Okay, crab cakes. I just had the best cakes at Richardson's tonight, and they are a couple of bucks less than others in and around town. They use a combination of lump and claw crab, and the crab was sweet and plentiful. No problem recommending this dish, and we are generally always satisfied with Richardson's for a good meal. It was on the special list, so you should get them while they are hot! Highly recommend

A very nostalgic restaurant with I Love Lucy episodes playing on a screen behind the bar. Lots of vintage knickknacks including James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and The Three Stooges.

The menu includes an assortment of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, seafood, soups, and salads. The bacon cheeseburger was good, and the onion rings were awesome. They have a decent assortment of beer and wine. The Brooklyn Brown Ale was tasty!

The highlight of our meal was desert. Hot fudge sundaes in classic sundae glasses. With a choice of over 15 varieties of ice cream, everyone will be pleased.

The service was amazing. We were standing outside at 5 minutes to 11 waiting for the restaurant to open. They opened the door early, because "Y'all look hungry". Our orders were taken promptly and the food was on the table in less than 10 minutes. When we ordered deserts the first desert was served before the last if us ordered.

Good service. Good food. Get there early for widest selection. Cute venue. A noisier-than-average establishment.

Met friends for a Sat. lunch. Fried cod and fried chicken specials were really good. Clams will keep me coming back. Good Cole slaw and fries. Coconut pie and ice cream for dessert. Always a fun experience, in a casual, welcoming place, with great waitresses.Will be skipping supper tonight.????
