Devils Backbone Basecamp Brewpub

Going to devils backbone was like visiting a small community. They had lots of options to fits the needs of your mood. We started at the brewpub with some appetizer sharing. The pretzel with queso was fabulous as well as the deviled eggs! The bartenders were great about offering tastings inside and provided smaller pours as well. There was an igloo cooler to fill water at the outdoor bar and their hibiscus lemonade slushee was perfect for the hot day. We had a blast...highly recommended ????

We thought we were going to a cozy-like pub with bar food, so we were somewhat put-out by finding it to be a restaurant with a slighty sports-like atmosphere.

Good food, but our favorite beer (Trail Angel Weiss) wasn't available on tap.

Nice brewery and restaurant but busy. Expect to wait for a table and then your food. Wail staff were excellent. Good selection of beers.

Great brewery and nice set up - I tried a variety of the beers and I liked almost all of them. The food was good. Prices were very reasonable, I would recommend it to anyone!

I drink your beer all the time. It was my first time at base camp. John E. Is the man! The most efficient and courteous server I have ever had! Very patient and everything was served perfect. We were a party of 11 as well and very picky. He did a great job and deserves some recognition for his calm and knowledgeable nature. Thanks for a great time and I will be back soon! With that said, the rest of the team was incredible, the food was to die for and the atmosphere was perfect. If you are thinking of going here; DO IT! One of the best spots in Virginia! Thanks for the great time!
