“Our experience was both positive and negative. The food, once you get it, is good. The menu leans toward fried food, but not entirely. The prices are reasonable. The wait staff is young, friendly, disorganized and therefore slow and a little forgetful. There is no experienced person “managing” the dining area so the young staff is stressed and overwhelmed. From the sights, sounds and the slow arrival of our food orders, the kitchen needs a guiding hand, too. With some stronger organization the restaurant could excel. Without it, the place eventually will struggle.”

The donuts here have to be the best I've ever had - fun selection of flavors, amazingly soft and not greasy. The brownie batter is by far my favorite a soft powdered sugar donut filled with brownie batter and lots of it...the banana pudding which is equally as good is a chocolate covered donut filled with banana pudding and topped with a crunchy vanilla wafer. They have such a wide selection of flavors it's hard to choose..do yourself a favor and dont limit yourself to just one..they are all amazing.”

WOW.... you can also drive up in your boat and tie up right outside the restaurant!! We have a few times.... Lakeside is your go to restaurant for a relaxed night out to unwind and enjoy dinner... it has become ours !!!”
