Mr. Boil - Cajun Seafood & Poke Bowl

My fiance and I went out on a date and visited the restaurant last night. The food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere was wonderful I enjoyed how they set up for Halloween, and the servers were super friendly! Both my fiance and I have decided that we will definitely be returning for future dates!

YUM! Great value for the food and so tasty! I got a poke bowl and it was fabulous. The drink specials were very reasonable. Definitely would return for another visit.

That Mr. Boil sauce is ON POINT!!! This is the first seafood place I have been to in Hampton roads where the mussels are not tiny. The atmosphere was awesome. THEY USE FRESH CORN, not that frozen kind!!! I loved how the sausage was kinda toasty, almost like deep fried, DELICIOUS!!! And I had enough to take home and enjoy later!!!

Ordered Selection B from the menu and the calamari basket. It was all a little salty. Shrimp were overcooked, it was very hot inside the building. Good portion sizes, flavor could use a little tweaking to improve taste. Flavors were there, but something was missing to give it that wow factor. I would eat here again at some point to give this place a second chance before I count them out completely. My visit would absolutely have to be in the late evening hours or in the winter. Nothing worst than eating spicy seafood in an oven. Waitress was pleasant and polite but we had to ask for refills, hand wipes etc.

For a second year wedding anniversary, my husband couldn't have picked a better place. It was absolutely delicious. Courtney was the best server that we have had at a restaurant in quite a while. Thank you to her for making our experience exceptionally wonderful! My Oyster Po Boy was amazing. My husband loved his snow crab bag. I highly recommended this place for a night out if you want good seafood and enjoyable atmosphere.
