Bonchon Norfolk

Got the fried rice. It was very good. I'll have to come back because there were a few things I wanted to try

I don’t go to downtown Norfolk often, but I was there last week and discovered this wonderful place. Bonchon is a nice Korean fusion restaurant and quite possibly a new favorite for me and my family. There have been very few times I could say that everything I tried on the menu was perfect. It was a lovely spot with great food and service. I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an Asian cuisine with a bit of a twist!

Not too bad. Small place that filled up after we got there. Food was okay, but my Korean wife said that she probably wouldn't have us go back.

Tried boneless chicken tenders. Not impressed. Not typical Korean quality fried chicken. A Korean lady i know probably can make a better fried chicken than here.

These wings were so much better. I adore spicy things, remembering the overpowering spice from the strips had me ordering their soy garlic flavor and the new sweet crunch wings. The wings were the perfect size and they were cooked perfectly with that amazing crunch on the outside and juicy chicken inside. Both sauces were fantastic and I think I'll brave the spicy again knowing the juicy chicken will help balance the flavor.
