The place is simple in decor and very clean. The waitress was very nice and patient with me as I read through the menu. Ended up ordering various tacos and ceviche. The plating was immaculate ????. I did not even want to dig in because my dish looked like a masterpiece. Everything was delicious even the mushroom tacos which were addictive. I'm definitely returning soon !
Tacos are easily the best I’ve had in the area.
Sat at the bar at the tail end of a lunch rush and was fed a steady stream of chips and salsa until my tacos were ready. Like to thank the owner for taking care of me, I’ll definitely be regular customer here.
This place needs to be broken down into categories.
First: the wait. 1 Star. Do not let 5 empty tables fool you into thinking you will get your food anytime soon. You will wait at least 2 hours to get food here. After getting seated and ordering drinks it took an hour to receive the margarita we ordered and another 20 minutes to get water. This place seriously needs to hire more people because one cook is not sufficient to handle half of the tables available.
Service: 3 stars. the wait staff was nice and friendly, but the service was not very attentive. Forgetting water and refills and overall just being very unorganized. Really need to get a routine and specific job tasks for employees. And please hire more people.
Food: 4.5 stars. the food was very good, but that also attributes to us being starving after the 2 hour + wait. The torta (sub) was delicious. Definitely recommend the torta. Tacos were good too. Everything here is fresh. The chips being fresh were not the best. They are very hard and giving 4 people a tiny bowl and charging $2 per refill is not worth it. The salsa was decent, but the wait staff forgot to bring us the spicy salsa so we only tried the mild and medium. Just get a torta and 2 tacos.
Price: 2 stars for the drinks. The drinks are way over priced. $10 for a tiny margarita is to much. 4 stars for the food. Food is well priced.
Location: 3 stars. Parking is very limited and is not in the best part of town. Also this restaurant needs to purchase more dishes because they seem to have to wait for other people to finish to make things you ordered.
Overall 3 stars. I would totally order the food as takeout, but not eat in.
Check out the pictures.
AMAZING, the food and the service were fantastic and everyone I know whose eaten here has said the same thing. I got an asada sandwich which is HUGE (and cheap) as well as the chicken tacos, both were delicious. The staff was more than friendly and hospitable, honestly the nicest I’ve ever met before. I could go on for hours about how good they were, 10/10 recommend this to anyone!!
The tacos are amazing. I loved the red sauce that comes out with the chips. It is a family owned restaurant and the food reflects that; every meal is hand made for you. The service was prompt and professional. Will come back.
