The best tasting cakes ever! The texture and flavors are outstanding. The variety is amazing. I could not stop eating once I started.

Decided to try this bakery based on a suggestion from yelp. I was a little unsure b/c I am not a fan of pound cakes as I find them to be dry and flavorless. Located in Ghent, nice storefront with plenty of parking. Walked inside and found it to be bright, and welcoming with lots of samples. The employees were very kind and explained the flavors and prices to me. The owner even came from the back to say hello! Today I tried the lemon and cinnamon cakes. They were both soft, moist and delicious. Never have I had pound cake this way. I ate one in the parking lot and immediately went back inside to buy more to take home.

The cakes really do melt in your mouth. I had a great experience in the shop. Jen and her family are wonderful people. They welcome you in with such beautiful smiles and hospitality. My favorite is the coconut
