I can't say enough good about Thelma's. If I could give more stars, I would. This non-assuming little "food truck" packs a punch! While I thought it sounded a little weird, two of us got the special: a three cheese panini stuffed with crab meat. It was delicious! It wasn't just sprinkled with a few little chunks of crab, it was chocked full. Mom got the other special, a honey mustard chicken wrap, which according to her was good enough that she would order it again. Dad decided on the shrimp and crab meat wrap, and he devoured it. He's not much of a talker, but if he ate it all it had to be good. The meals come with a choice of chips, potato salad or coleslaw. We all got chips because they were out of coleslaw.
Two stars definitely needs to be directed at the presentation. Not only did we get this delicious meal, it was fancied up with a sweet chunk of watermelon, a perfectly ripe strawberry a quarter of an orange. They put pickle spears in the cutest little elongated plastic containers to avoid tainting the rest of the food. It was a nice touch.
We're in Callao several times a month and we will definitely order from here again.
