“If you use GPS it actually takes you to store across the street.. I ordered the country fried steak which was delicious. But the beans I got we're barely microwave warm. The corn bread was hard as a ball. String beans were cold.. ...the next morning we decided to try out the breakfast. It was spot on delicious... So we will definitely be going back regardless of the dinner servious.. plus the ladies there are truly welcoming...”

“I've only eaten the breakfasts here a few times, but every time the food has been perfect! The portions are great, everything us cooked properly (cooks know what a "egg over easy" means) The service is great; waitresses are friendly, prompt. The prices are VERY reasonable for all that you get The restaurant is very clean, as are the bathrooms. It's a little bit of a drive for me.... (about 20 miles one way), but IMHO it's well worth the trip. Crooked Road Cafe (on Hwy 58, just outside Hillsville, Va) is well worth the stop, especially if your traveling and need to stop and eat and stretch your legs. Keep up the Great Food, Service and you'll have a forever customer!!!!!”

“Stopped in for a bite to eat and a margarita. The margarita was very good, the food was good. I had the poblano mole, I wouldn't get it again but I would try something else. The salsa was tasty and I liked that they gave each of us our own bowl so we could double dip our chips. Our waiter was young and didn't seem like he was waiting tables for very long but he did his best to take care of us.”

It wasn't greasy at all! They didn't use butter or other unhealthy additives that you'd expect from "first impressions" of the menu and the atmosphere.”
