Dixie Restaurant

This is a great breakfast diner! The coffee was fantastic and the food was fresh and well-made! This is a good place for a family meal. I enjoyed the mix of the regulars and the visitors who were warmly welcomed. I would highly recommend!

This picture is not up to date. The restaurant could use a update. The food is mainly country cooking. They serve breakfast and lunch. It stays pretty crowded, so people must like it. I think they have their regular clientele. I had the special which was supposed to be grilled catfish but was actually lightly battered and fried with tomatoes on top and lemon on a bed of white rice. It came with a choice of two sides. The prices are reasonable.

First visit and will definitely be coming back. Breakfast was delicious and staff friendly and attentive. Thanks for the awesome food and service!

Wife and I stopped in on a Tuesday morning for some breakfast. The food was delicious. Menu was full of southern breakfast favorites and staples. I recommend the pancakes, they are fantastic. Also, the service was on point, our drinks never got to half-full before they got refilled. We will definitely return.

Nice Charleston institution. Good lunch & great dessert. I had the BLT which was very tasty. Nice flavor to the bacon. Comfortable feel & great wait staff. We shared a Chocolate Cream Pie that was very light and flavorful. Will stop here again.
