Deewa foodstreet &banquet

My name is Jimmy Khan, and I am the owner of the restaurant. This party booked our banquet hall for an engagement party for 100 people. We received half of the agreed upon payment, and we were to receive the remaining half on the day of the party. As with all of our events, our priority is to see the party is pleasant and the customers are pleased. Despite the fact that as many as 200 people, possibly more, showed up, my staff was up to the task of making sure food was available. Unfortunately, some members of the party were inpatient and continuously entered the kitchen (which is off limits), harassing my staff. A female employee was shoved aside by one of the "men" of the party. At the end of the party, the organizers refused to pay the balance due. Arguments ensued between them and my partner, and security had to be called to escort them out. However, police were called who successfully had them leave. We were asked if we would like to press charges, but we declined in the spirit that it was fellow Pakistani-Americans we were dealing with.
In return, we've lost money on this party, and now we're enduring the slanderous reviews of various members of the party. There were no physical altercations other than the waitress being pushed. There was no racism involved. No one complained about the food in any way that night. Anyone can make a report to the health department, and if and when we are inspected, we will pass as we always have. Absolutely not a single employee was drunk. The slander needs to stop. We understand the organizers are unhappy, as are we. If the slander continues, there will be legal repercussions.
We have video of the party which shows the participants enjoying the night. As a business we do our best to please our customers and have always gone above and beyond. We will continue to do that.

Recently found out this establishment was reopened. I came here and was pleasantly surprised. It's a restaurant on one side with a bar on the other side. I was in the bar area for happy hour and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The drinks were great (try the K2 Punch!!) but the show stealer was the lamb kebabs. Cooked to order, they were so delicious. Medium well and perfectly seasoned they hit the spot. There was an incident on the restaurant side that involved an altercation but that was more so an isolated event. Please don't let that deter you from visiting this establishment.

Fabulous place. Family environment no drama. Service is great, bartenders are attentive and very friendly. Come check it out for yourself. I always have a great time. Food is really good and reasonable priced.
