So here's the question: HOW DID THEY GET ALL OF OUR GRANDMA'S BACK THERE IN THAT KITCHEN COOKING THIS EXTRAORDINARY FOOD?!? I mean, COME ON!!!! Turkey wings, seasoned with a special mix blessed by the ancestors; ribs so tender you'd think the bone had offended the meat enough for it to fall off so easily; and Hennessy wings so yummy I wanted to visit every surrounding chicken restaurant, walk up to the owners and just say, "No." But wait, a variety of smoked chili's too?!?....... I didn't even know I liked chicken chili, but after that sweet corn bread topped with a bowl full of perfectly seasoned pulled chicken, white kidney beans, fresh jalapeños, onions,
and tomatoes...... BABY............I do! (PLEASE see picture!) And when I say desserts, you better understand I mean DESSERTS! We LOVED the warm peach AND apple biscuit cobbler. But y'all, I did have to ask Chef David for an apology for stealing my Momma's sweet potato pie recipe!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!😄 It all was just so tasty. The "soulful southerness" of this cuisine is just what Northern VA needed. Welcome to Prince William County, Blue Southern BBQ! You have a patron for life!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

The food was amazing!!! My grandma and I got the smoked chicken wings and fries the other day, and I could not get enough. Also had the Thanksgiving meal and it was to die for! Reminded me of my grandma's cooking:) Definitely plan to go back for their smoked turkey legs.

The brisket salad was so good and was full of flavor. Can never go wrong with frying fries in peanut oil. You definitely need to get the PB&J pound cake - so satisfying!

Hidden Gem in Woodbridge, tucked into the far corner of EPIC. Ordered the Rib Sandwich and the beef and pork sandwiches too! Chef David Galloway creates a unique flavor for each meat, and the homemade sauces kick-it up to the next level.
