Brenner Pass

This evening we have enjoyed a fabulous meal at Brenner Pass. In the past we have liked some offerings at this eatery but tonight absolutely everything was perfectly prepared. I began with the Ocean Spray Cocktail which was tart and refreshing followed by the Arugula and Apricot Salad with Pistachio Vinaigrette which was delicious and large enough to share. For entree I chose the Saffron Risotto with Crab which was extremely fresh and flavorful. My husband enjoyed the Halibut with Charred Vegetables with an unusual and altogether tasty sauce. We concluded our meal by sharing a fantastic dessert of fruit, toasted hazelnuts and pistachio ice cream on spicy pound cake...I've forgotten the name of the dish but not the great taste. The flavor combinations at Brenner Pass are unusual and sometimes surprising but you won't find a better meal anywhere and service that is prompt efficient and pleasant. A truly great experience!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this place. But boy, we're we not disappointed. I had a group of 5 guys for a bachelor party and each one of our meals were amazing. Everything from the burger to the pasta to the steak were incredible. They have a huge selection for drinks and their menu, though catered to their aesthetic, had something for everyone. Will for sure be back. I highly recommend the steak tartare.

Ambience is sleek and modern. Nice location in Scott’s Addition. The area is developing interestingly. Nice spot for date night or girls night out. Crab risotto was okay; a but overpriced for risotto. Staff was pleasant and was eager for feedback.

A casual comfortable restaurant serving first quality food. The chicken was complimented by mushrooms and s crayfish sauce, the halibut was perfectly cooked. All of which was complimented by attentive but non invasive service..

Another great restaurant in Richmond Virginia. The garlic soup as an appetizer is simply amazing. The service was stellar. As expected the roysters were way overpriced. The Friday wasters were delicious. And the artichoke was incredible. It's a little cold inside. It she can modern but lacks a little character. Over all the experience was grand. I will be back to taste more...
