My recent lunch excursion to Carytown Indian Cuisine with my family was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere.

We started our meal with some cocktails, each expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. As we perused the menu, we decided to indulge in a variety of appetizers and entrees to sample the breadth of flavors offered.

The Lamb Chaat appetizer was a standout, with tender lamb perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. The Gobi appetizer was a delightful surprise, with each bite melting in our mouths and leaving us craving more.

For our main course, the Dal Makhani was an absolute hit, with its rich, creamy texture and perfectly balanced spices. It was the epitome of comfort food done right. Additionally, the Mango Kulfi dessert transported us to culinary paradise, with its creamy texture and exotic flavors leaving a lasting impression.

However, not every dish was a hit. The Chocolate Lava Cake fell short of expectations, with a disappointing floury texture that failed to deliver on its promise of decadence.

Despite this minor hiccup, our overall experience at Carytown Indian Cuisine was nothing short of fantastic. From the delectable appetizers to the sumptuous entrees and delightful cocktails, every aspect of our meal was a testament to the culinary expertise and dedication of the chefs.

In conclusion, if you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine, look no further than Carytown Indian Cuisine. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or that special someone, you're sure to leave satisfied and eager to return for more.

A much better experience compared to Tulsi up the road. Well cooked food and thoughtful presentation. Interior is also well designed and not dull. Recommend the samosas

I’m in Richmond for a work trip for the first time and this place was SO GOOD. I love Indian food but it’s hard to find a place with amazing service, good prices, and generous portions like this place. It was very clean and beautiful restaurant with peaceful music playing. Wish I had this back home. Definitely recommend!

Innovative, delicious, and impeccable Indian food prepared perfectly. Truly the most memorable and delicious Indian food I've ever had. The presentation and flavor profiles throughout our meal took us on a real journey, from our appetizers, main courses, sides, and dessert. The appetizer lamb kheema chatt blew my mind. I don't live in the area to try it again, and I can't wait til we go back to Richmond again so I can rush to the restaurant again to get this on the first night we're there! The goat cheese croquets were another standout dish - but truly, every dish we got was superb. We mentioned to our server to share our compliments to the chef, and shortly after, Executive Chef Naveen Sadana came out to our table to greet us and share some of his backstory, and we were honored to speak with him and congratulate him on designing and executing such a world-class dining experience. Our family enjoyed our evening out on the patio so much and highly recommend anyone visit this incredible restaurant!

This restaurant just opened in Carytown and the food and service are amazing! Everyone is so attentive and lovely but the food and drinks are the stars of the show! There is a more modern twist to the classic Indian food. We had a great date night and thanks to everyone there. Can’t wait to go back!
**Oh and bonus there is a small parking lot on the side of the building so we didn’t have to parallel park on Cary St when the traffic is crazy in the evenings.
