Fatty Smokes: A Barbecue Joint

The egg rolls were awesome, mac and cheese superb, and the brisket was the best I've ever eaten. Sliced thick, nice and smoky, and it cut like butter. Simply amazing food with great service to go with it. We'll definitely visit again and again.

Whoa! This place does barbecue of different styles and sides right. Fried Green Tomatoes- awesome. Alabama White Sauce- flavorful. Pulled pork and sausage- mouthwatering. Collard Greens- seasoned with a kick. My waitress did an awesome job mixing drinks as well. Stop in and try this joint. I was encouraged to see an accessible, delicious barbeque spot in Richmond done right within the bustling commercial district.

First time visit and will prob return. Top notch service in a casual yet modernist setting. Close your eyes and imagine filming an adult movie of flavor in your mouth...the buffalo mac and cheese balls would be the star.
The Dinosaur Beef Rib was so tender it fell off the bone and became a personal 1lb beef roast from heaven.

Pleasantly surprised by the food. Had the brisket, coleslaw, fries and fried green Tomatoes. I was not a huge fan of green tomatoes it was way too much for what should have been a simple dish. It was adorned with pimento cheese and hot sauce which for me were not a great options. I did like the fact it being crispy. The brisket was juicy, well smoked and tasted great especially with the spicy bbq sauce. The fries were perfect. And quantities and definitely large so go there hungry.
