A very well thought-out and well managed modern pool hall on steroids. The customized lighting, colorful and entertaining portraits of patrons on the walls, and the general ambience provide a superb experience. The only thing missing that would make this place more authentic is a thick pall of cigar smoke, and you'll appreciate the lack thereof. By the by, we are talking 9ft regulation pool tables, not the minis that you see in many bars and homes. Be ready to miss some shots if you are not a good player.
It was a decent place. There isn't many drink options, my top 4 drinks they didn't have. But the atmosphere was good and I had a lot of fun.
The real deal. Open 5 years ago, but feels like an old time pool hall. Great equipment and wonderful staff. Very clean and well kept, lots of light. Has a great full bar and tasty food. They also have lessons available for all levels of players. Get here early in the day an play as much as you want from noon till 6 for just $10. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
Best tables in town. No fooling around in this saloon. All about the games, playing fair and improving your skill. Great location. Parking is limited. Limited tables, but well worth the wait. They have gourmet deviled eggs, which take my childhood to a whole other level since I've loved them since childhood Easters with my family along the Gulf Coast.
Really neat, upscale but gives off a modern 70s vibe. They are a little strict on rules/regulations but it didn’t affect my experience. Drinks were good, try the Yellow Cactus and some of their other fun cocktails. Small bites menu was delicious, good for sharing. You can only go into the pool area if you’re playing/have a table, but this isn’t required for sitting upstairs in the bar area. Came during a tournament and everyone cheers on the players, positive vibes. Overall a cool experience.
