The amazing spot for wings they definitely checked out! Pizza was great! Had the vegan basil pizza which was decent, but the real cheese is where its at. There's always a tang or kick in the pizza sauce which I love!! It makes the pizza unique. The pizza crust is really tasty too. I'm not a crust kinda guy, so when I eat the actual crust I remember. Can't wait to sit at the bar here one day!!
I finally got a chance to visit Hot for Pizza and it was a pretty perfect experience. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and the food was tremendous. I was honestly really impressed with everything. You can tell how much care and pride they take in their product. I bought a few pizzas because we wanted to try out a few different things, and they were all beautiful and delicious. I can’t wait to place another order and try a few more things out.
exotic pizza’s and cold beer
also has outside seating
if your in richmond you have to try this place
This was THE ultimate slice. The crisp was perfect. The lil pepperoni cups were magical. The five dollar price point(11-5)???? C'mon man. My only regret is that they weren't open when I lived in that side of town. It's true what they say. I'm hot for pizza.
Wife and I saw HFP one day driving through and thought it was a great play on Van Halen, so we wanted to give it a try. Little disappointed, that they have the inside closed, but understandable due to Covid. Seems like they have some cool decor. They do have a couple of little tables outside though. We grabbed one of their menus, sat outside and enjoyed reading the names of the items. I was a little of a sticklier at first.. come on we all know the "Yankee Rose" Salad, is a David Lee Roth song, not a VH one, but since they have "Freebird" wings.. they may just be a little loose with all VH. They do have some unique items and if ya need fake cheese, gluten free or vegan options, they appear to have a number of options for you. We ordered a Running with the Basil and Temple of Boom. The ToB was the bomb! Both my wife and I loved it. RwtB not so much, neither of us cared for that one much. Not sure why, for me I don't think I cared for the sauce that much. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely go back and try some other things.
