Sugar Shack Donuts & Coffee

Amazingly soft donuts. Non greasy, full of flavor. The lemon filled and the lemon poppy are divine. Blueberry cake donuts were superb. The staff is quick, knowledgeable and patient. The coffee is top notch. A treat not to be missed! So glad I was able to visit this original location while in RVA!

Plenty of vegan options. *NOTE* the donut prices are set up by shelf and labeled by “Classic” “Special” and “House” so you can match the price on the board with the donut label. I went tug Chocolate glaze chocolate chip and salted caramel glaze. They’re a cross between yeast and cake donuts so they’re a denser than yeast and lighter than cake. Lots of non-vegan options also. Well priced (two of my donuts pictured were $3.45).

Best place in the country to get donuts! Service is always quick and easy. Doesn't matter what time I come in, it is always a quick, efficient transaction. All the donuts are delicious from Maple Bacon, to Samoa, to red velvet. Coffee is delicious too! Highly recommended

I've always loved Sugar Shack donuts. Firstly, they're a pretty good size. Secondly, they're light and fluffy. Thirdly, they have tasty and unique flavors. My personal favorites are the Samoa and any of the ones with berry icing.I got a bunch for work but I tried the seasonal blueberry lemon one - so good! You could really taste the fruit flavors. I will say that these donuts are pretty sweet, but you probably knew that coming to a place called Sugar Shack.

Huge selection of unique specialty donuts! Customer service was great, the employee was very helpful while I built a custom dozen. I had a diverse assortment and really enjoyed the majority, with the exception of the filled donuts. I had a coconut filled and I believe a Bavarian cream filled. The fillings were extremely sweet and a bit one dimensional with the only flavor being sugar. I'm not deducting any stars as that's totally personal preference, but worth noting!
