KuRu Ethiopian Authentic Restaurant

The food was incredible here! We stumbled across this place when the vegan place next door was looking a little stale, and we were very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Coffee was fabulous as well!

I love this place, my girlfriend and I literally cannot get enough. The hours are weird but we’ve scheduled whole evenings around getting here. Amazing staff, very helpful, super homey atmosphere. The food is indescribably amazing. I was going to take a picture but I couldn’t help but eat it as quick as my mouth would allow

The only negative thing I had to say was that the food was in kinda small portions, but other than that it was Soo good!

Had a wonderful experience at KuRu. The food was dynamite. We've eaten Ethiopian several times at the two restaurants in Houston and this was right up there with those two. The server was super attentive and just genuinely nice. We had our toddler with us (and luckily were only ones in the restaurant) who decided to crank out. The server went out of his way to try to bring a smile back on our toddler's face.

Great food and service! Never had Ethiopian food and this is now a place ill visit again. Great for vegetarian food, but also a great selection of meat dishes. Everything was full of flavor and cooked well. Hours are a bit weird, so just double check online. Other than that no complaints.
