Little Nickel

Just finished a fantastic lunch at little nickel! Best things about this gem: Mary (our server), the food, the food, oh and did I mention the food? We didn't have drinks but the bartender was on fire! She was efficient, skilled, and fun to watch. Our server was so attentive without being overbearing. She gave us her endorsement at our selections, which is always reassuring.

Amazing drinks, amazing food, amazing service. Lamb shank tacos area must have along with the coconut creme pie! Our server had wonderful recommendations for us, the decor was so fun, and I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Great eats in a small, vacation themed venue. I see now why there is always a small wait to be seated here. It really is worth it. Our waiter Preston, was not only very knowledgeable but attentive to our table and willing to answer all of our questions. The portions are well-sized and you may even take some home (as I did). I do not normally give 5 star reviews to eateries but I think Little Nickel fits the bill. (Picture is the Crab Spaghetti)

I'd never been here before suggesting it for our department lunch to welcome a new hire, and when she heard this was where we were going, she yelled around the corner "I love Little Nickel!" After our lunch, I understand why. Every single item our table of eight ordered was a delight. The decor was fun, seats comfortable, not too noisy during lunch, and the menu was a perfect blend of adventurous and familiar.

An eclectic restaurant in both style and substance, with a creative, tasty menu, fast and friendly service, and affordable prices (though drinks can add up quick). The menu seems to find inspiration from all corners of the world, and you're bound to find something tasty and inspiring here. The kids menu is a bit typical, which is probably a good thing because your kid will need to have a willingness to push their boundaries if they will be sharing a plate with you. The service is awesome. A 10 minute wait was really 2, and our waitress made sure my daughter had crayons and was overall just wonderfully nice. The food came out quick, was hot and delicious, and portions were giant. Everything we had was great. The restaurant is decorated with an island retro flair. You'll find lots to look at. The bar is particularly interesting. Overall, great!
