The devil's mess is totally worth the trip here! Delicious and savory, combining curry, eggs, sausage, peppers and more in a way that makes a smooth but sharp plate of food! It's hard to order anything else when I know that's on the menu! Highly recommended, but you better be prepared to wait on the weekends. The line can be quite long, but the flavors will bring you back again and again!
Our first time at Millie's was very good! We were promptly greeted in a friendly manner and seated quickly. Ally our server was great. I ordered the Eggs Benny with a side of grits. My friend ordered the Scrambled Eggs with Lobster. We split the Lemon Pound Cake & Lemon Curd. The food was delicious and we'll definitely return again.
No wonder why this place is hard to squeeze into, but don't fret. Grab a drink from their brunch menu cause that will make waiting worth your while. This place is small but every corner is filled with great people and amazing food. I had the pleasure of trying the Devil's Mess and my wait was minimal since I ate at the bar. I also had a glass of the Evil Knievel, perfect combination. The service was rapid and friendly. I would definitely return for more
I came with my wife and brother in law and the food was great! I got the Castro mess which was basically pork, eggs, beans, green peppers and cheese with home fries. The meal was fantastic! My wife got the eggs Benny which was really good. I would highly recommend this place. It's a little small so seating could take some time. We showed up with our whole party and got seated right away. The service was good as well. If you're in the area and looking for a great brunch spot check this place out!
Millie's has the heart and soul of a diner. I came in shortly after opening, to a bustling kitchen and restaurant. The two cooks are right up front, and as a solo traveler, I was sat at the bar. The staff and customers were so friendly, and the place was full of life. Every time a customer added a tip to their basket, they would ring their bell and say "thank you for tipping your cooks". My omelette was sooooo DELICIOUS, and the home fries were just as good. Their setup is small, and apparently Millie's has been around for 30 years. If you're looking for a filling meal, you can't beat their omelettes, brimmed with fillings. There's not much space to move around, but everyone is welcoming and makes you feel at home. Highly recommend!
