This place was absolutely amazing! This was my first time trying it out. I had heard really good things, and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered two appetizers the fried green tomatoes and the crab cakes and both were phenomenal! Our server was fantastic! A young lady with short, red hair, I wish I could remember her name. One of our party had a gluten allergy. She was very receptive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Plan ahead. They can have extensive wait times for seating which goes to show their popularity which is entirely justified. I will definitely be back! I'm looking forward to coming back one evening after 5p to try the catfish dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Seriously surprises me every time I come here. Some of the best food in Richmond and that goes for brunch and lunch too! The staff is great and it's nice to have a dog friendly eating establishment so close to home. The beer menu and drink menu is extensive and awesome.
Fun atmosphere, awesome staff, food was ridiculously good. Portions are big and just about everything has bacon. If bacon is a favorite, you cannot go wrong here. The wait staff was friendly and very efficient. And to top it off they had awesome beer on tap. One of the best dining experiences we've had in Richmond.
My family and I went here for my daughter's graduation. Everything was delicious. I had the Scott's Addition, which was good. The fried oysters and crab cake were excellent. This is also the only place besides my mother's house were I've been able to get iced mint tea! Staff was very friendly and accommodating and we look forward to returning again soon.
Expect a wait during peak brunch, lunch and dinner hours. Is it worth the wait? Yes if you haven’t been before. Otherwise it’s typical southern cuisine. Neat atmosphere but a little tight.
