Best lamb chops I have ever had. Not even close, ridiculous. Quinoa, corn base upon which lamb chops were plated was also amazingly good, not throw away/ afterthought.Wanted to splurge at a fancy restaurant to celebrate finishing another year of medical school. Browsed yelp for a new spot to check out and saw the high reviews for this place so made a reservation and came on a Friday evening.

Highly recommend The Stables. Nicely tucked away on a quiet street in an inviting, small environment, The Stables is great for brunch or dinner. Their bloody mary's are scrumptious. It would be great to see an option for egg-white omelets. Within walking distance to the VMFA adds to the charm. Lovely, local spot.

A great little place. The pork chops are highly recommended and the fish was excellent. I had trouble deciding because while the menu was not huge, there were multiple apps and entrees that I wanted to try, along with numerous gluten free options. Definitely will go back.

Wonderful food!! Lamb Lollipops we're delicious. The pastries are out of this world. Do NOT skip dessert!!

We may have found our new favorite spot! My wife described it as "pretentious food, without any pretentiousness". Everything was perfect.. every single thing. Our server, Catherine, was warm, inviting, and a pleasure to chat with. The chef's and bartenders made us feel like we were hanging out with friends. And the food.. oh my, the food.. we agreed that it was the finest meal in recent memory. Oh! And the cocktails were creative, crafted with care, and DELICIOUS! This is a true neighborhood hidden gem. We can't wait to go back to try their brunch!
