Tipsy Crab Seafood & Bar

I wanted to take my family visiting from Nj and Richmond to nice spot that had seafood and that we would enjoy something different and a fun environment. This place exceeded our expectations. My father whom is the hardest critics of service could not stop talking about the services from our waiter. The tipsy crab season, crab broil and hush puppies were phenomenal!! We will be returning and spreading the word.

Owners need to make some investments in this establishment if they want to generate a loyal following and receive high ratings in my opinion. The service staff were good, need to replace the paper food baskets and plastic forks. I'm sure you can purchase stainless steel forks/knives and tin plates for food. The ambiance and decor needs significant help. Seafood is the basic menu so make the ambiance representative if what you are selling. Probably won't return.

Our waiter maegan was excellent. She treated us well and was very attentive. The food was hot and correct to order. The taste was so good it made me feel like I was having a seafood boil from down the deep south. I will be returning again with friends and family because we love excellent tasting seafood.

This joint was BANGING! The spices were perfect. I had 1lb of Snow Crab and 1lb of Shrimp with the Tipsy mix which is all three spices. I also had the Chesapeake Crab Dip. Our server was Reece and he provided us with exceptional service. Over all, an amazing experience. Thank you!

This place is amazing! Our server was Rachelle she was super awesome throughout the whole dinning experience. I honestly never do these reviews but have too being that everything was 100%. We had the love is love combo bucket with seafood Mac and cheese. The seafood Mac and cheese is a blessing within itself. I’m so happy this is here in Richmond.
