Wan Jing Lou Restaurant

THIS PLACE ISNT SO BAD.... ITS IN THE HOOD WHICH IS KINDA SCARY...BUT OVER ALL I LIKE THERE FOOD ASIDE FROM LI'S GARDEN.. I LIKE THERI CRABMEAT FRIED RICE BECAUSE THERE RICE IS MORE YELLOW VERSUS DARK...

Not much to look at inside but the carry out food was delicious and the portions generous. Had spicy vegetables with bean curd (tofu). Very good.

Every other experience has been great with Wan Jing Lou. ETA never over 20 minutes. AS FOR TODAY, I ordered $30 worth of food at 11:56 AM. I called back at 12:11 PM to ensure my soda was included as we did not discuss which soda I wanted. The lady advised only Pepsi is served with lunch special. No problem. I call back at 12:37 PM inquiring on the ETA. The lady said my order was en route. Unusually delayed but no problem. Delivery guy calls me at 12:45 PM to meet him. I gave extra for his tip as well. Get upstairs, not only is my chicken and broccoli sauce leaking out the paper bag, my food is chilled and I don't have my soda... I call them back at 12:52 PM. The lady act like she barely understood that I didn't receive the soda with my meal in addition to the fact it took almost AN HOUR to deliver my order which is 2.2 miles from their location, 8 minutes via Rte 64 or 9 minutes N 25th to Main St. She tried to say delivery time is always 40 to an hour. I kindly disagreed because that is not my experience. My food was chilled like it had been riding around in the delivery guy's back seat for the entire hour! No sauce on my chicken and broccoli because it's all in the bag! And I didn't have a drink. She says, "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?" I paused and asked, "WELL ARE YOU GOING TO BRING ME MY SODA?!" She agreed and I did receive my soda. The next time I ever order from here and I get 40 minutes late, sloppy, cool food you best believe I WON'T be paying. 2.2 miles down the street 1 hour ETA my foot!!
