Sakura Japanese Steak House

Out of all the Asian restaurants I've been to this is by far my favorite. The service here is impeccable and the employees take the time to get to know you without being intrusive. Best part is they remember you even after just a couple of times as well as long absences.
The food here is amazing and presented well rather than just slopped on a plate which shows the pride the employees take in their work. Prior to eating here I attempted sushi once or twice with mediocre results however it's my first menu choice when eating at this restaurant.
This is one of my top three places to eat in Roanoke. The pricing is more than reasonable, the service excellent, and the food phenomenal. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Roanoke, for a weeknight takeout or sit down meal, or a larger family outing over the weekend. It's just a great place to eat.

For the price you cannot beat this place. There food is very good and always well prepared, and there sushi and sashimi is always on point everytime I go. $20 for all you can eat is just to good to pass up.

Food is mediocre but that's not the reason for three stars. The service is awful. Had to wait 20 minutes to order water, another 20 minutes to get water. The orders for food weren't taken for about 30 minutes more.

The whole culinary venture took two and a half hours and we had to ask for checks TWICE. Its bad enough being ignored or passed over with empty plates for about 40 minutes, but when the customer has to remind the business to pay- that's just ridiculous.

Price is fine for the good you get, but bring a book or activity for an exorbitantly long wait.

A hidden gem. Upscale dining room with ample seating. Great service. Good all you can eat specials. Drive thru sushi.
