Chris's Coffee & Custard

If you like custard, theirs is legit. I got the coffee shake, which they make with vanilla custard, coffee beans and espresso. It’s probably the best coffee shake I’ve had in a while. It’s kind of in a hole in an industrial complex, but the eclectic furniture and open building just feel charming.

We stopped at Chris's for breakfast on our way out of Roanoke heading home to CT. It was the perfect stop to end our week long road trip through the Blue Mountains. An employee held the door for us as we arrived and again when we left. He was helpful in telling us what the different food items in the case were. My spinach croissant was delicious and the cold brew chocolate chip muffin was one of the best muffins I've ever had (wish I got a second!). The service was quick and the space itself was beautiful. We only had time to get food to-go but would have loved to sit and eat in the beautiful dining room. Will definitely be back our next time in VA! Thanks for the great service.

AMAZING experience! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed your custard...it was the best we’ve ever had! Moreso, we loved the welcoming atmosphere and friendly faces. Chris and Danielle welcomed us with warm smiles, and filled our hearts with joy. We will be telling all of our friends, and will be coming back for more delicious treats!

Wednesday night, 8pm, Sydney & Chris served us creamy chocolate custard, a pup cup, and 2 amazing chocolate chip cookies. This 5 start rating is not only for the kind service but also for the stellar custard! We will be back when we can stay to sit in that inviting, spacious sitting area and enjoy a cup of the delicious smelling coffee.

I went to Chris's Coffee & Custard tonight for the first time. I just want to say that it won't be the last. This establishment has a very inviting decor for coffee and cafe crowds. I bought a pint of vanilla custard and it was extremely delicious. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to all coffee and custard lovers.
