I got a Togo order from here on memorial day and it was excellent! Not too busy and the bar was very swanky. Polite bar staff and fast service on the food order. I got an Octopus taco, chicken taco, and shrimp taco along with guacamole and ACP. Everything was delicious and I am definitely coming back!!
This place offers amazing food and drinks. I enjoyed chicken enchiladas with rice and a guacamole salad, and my friend had another chicken dish. Both were ample and yummy. Drinks are delicious, too, and the presentation and service are on par as well. Extensive menu. Over the top with so many selections. Not just "another" Mexican restaurant. I will definitely return.
Leaving an early review with intentions to return in the near future and update 👍 this spot has great potential on a tough street to do business on in the valley view area.
Historically restaurants have had their challenges on this street in particular with a 1-way in / out. So good luck.
We visited and they did not yet have their alcohol license and were also out of several items. We waited a bit long on our food but regardless, service was friendly, helpful and positive. And the ingredients seemed fresh and well prepared.
We tried many of the dishes and didn’t have complaints on taste or presentation. Next time we return, we will sit at the bar and try again!
A fresh new take on the Mexican Restaurant scene in the Roanoke area. The professional chef at Mariscos Nayarit shows their skill in the depth and blending of flavors that are traditional yet with a unique take. My first bite of the steak fajitas was delightfully surprising. Some combination of spices that I can’t quite place makes them stand apart and above any fajitas I’ve had anywhere and the tasteful delights didn’t end there. The rice cake presentation and mild flavors are reminiscent of seafood and pleasantly textured to be smooth and melt-in-mouth. The beans are good, earthy, and smooth with a delightful umami contrast to the springtime brightness of the guacamole salad. Bravo! Bravissimo!
The waitresses were attentive and polite, almost too much so, but there wasn’t much business so that’s understandable. Stop on in, you won’t be disappointed in this new take on Mexican dining! (Except maybe if you’re looking for a drink with your meal, they’re so new that alcohol isn’t on the menu yet.)
It’s so refreshing to have such a different menu for Mexican food. The offerings are vast with so much seafood. They have a professional chef and it shows. This was our best Mexican meal outside of Mexico.
Staff is so friendly and attentive. They did a fantastic job with the interior. It’s not your usual Mexican restaurant interior.
This will become our go to place. Our biggest concern is it will become too busy to get a seat in the future.
