I had the pleasure of experiencing true hospitality, thanks to Hunter, who went above and beyond during a last-minute emergency. Our company, along with a few technology partners, was hosting a happy hour for a mutual client. Unexpectedly, weather issues led to numerous flight cancellations and delays, significantly reducing our guest count and putting us in a tough spot with budget concerns, given the shared cost arrangement.

From the moment I reached out, Hunter was the epitome of patience, kindness, and understanding. He quickly adapted to our situation, helping to alleviate the stress of the moment. His ability to accommodate our needs at such short notice was nothing short of remarkable. Hunter worked diligently to create a last-minute menu that not only delighted our reduced number of attendees but also aligned perfectly with our company’s compliance requirements.

Hunter provided thoughtful beverage suggestions that ensured our event remained within budget without compromising on quality. His expertise and suggestions were invaluable and showcased his deep understanding of hospitality.

Hunter's genuine care and exceptional service truly made our event a success against all odds. His professionalism and warmth not only saved the day but also ensured that our guests had a wonderful time. The Liberty Trust Bar is lucky to have such a dedicated individual, and we are deeply appreciative of his efforts. Thanks to Hunter, what could have been a logistical nightmare turned into a memorable evening for everyone involved. We look forward to returning and experiencing more of the fantastic service that Hunter and the Liberty Trust Bar have to offer.

Excellent place to go to celebrate. The menu is somewhat tapas style but not separated into small plates and large plates. In our party of 6 we tried a majority of the menu and everything was great. My particular favorites were the steak tartare (though maybe a little strong with capers) and the khachapuri. The "fun with cheese" plate was definitely a crowd pleaser.

We sat in the vault / VIP room, and while a little echoey, was a very cool and private room experience.

My adult children and I had our Christmas dinner here. The place is gorgeous. Service is very friendly. Food was beautiful and delicious. I would come back and sit at the bar for drinks and small plates. But I wasn't prepared to eat a full meal around a coffee table. I didn't like that at all. Because of the placement of the furniture and noise level, I couldn't really catch up with the two of them. That's my purpose for bribing my busy kids with a spendy, fancy meal. I moved my chair closer which helped but Liberty Trust is not inexpensive and because of the seating situation I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to....This review is not to dissuade anyone from going, just to know what to expect. If you haven't seen your family or friends in a while, this is not the place I would recommend.

This was a unique experience. We got to sit in the old bank vault! The wine dispenser is exclusive to this venue, at least in this area that I know off. The Apple and Rutabaga Soup was surprisingly delicious! I'm not normally a big fan of Caesar Salad but this one had a nice zing to it. My Old Fashioned was top notch. I tried a Manhattan for the first time and was very pleased. I cannot say enough about the food, service and atmosphere. Everything was amazing!!

The service we received was spectacular. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and flavors of each dish.

Everything we ordered was visually very nice. There was not a lot of consistency in the taste of our dishes-some parts were very good, but mostly the taste didn't match the look. The cocktails were priced slightly higher than some similar drinks at nearby establishments. Again, visually very appealing, but fell flat in taste and consistency.

The marble walls and floors are beautiful and the decor was thoughtfully chosen. The seating and acoustics can make conversations a little difficult.

Overall, this is not a bad option in downtown Roanoke.
