A unique place in an old fashioned town. A place that brings you back into the days of small family oriented restaurants and diners. Friendly atmosphere, homey styling, and a decent homemade style menu. The food is pretty plain, with nothing standing out as exceptional.
Great southern home cooking. Great options. BEWARE! this place only accepts cash or checks.
Just like Grandma's home cooking. Cafeteria style casual dining. Comfort food, great prices. (CASH, no Cards).
Tremendous selection of entree, sides, and deserts all from scratch. Not gourmet, just plain & simple real country food. Staff friendly. Locals gathering spot. Down to earth place. My family likes a vegetable platter take out for supper. Can't find some of these old-fashioned" recipes around many places. If you're looking for no frills, down home style budgeted lunch, this is your spot!
If your looking for dinner at your parents house or maybe grandma's place then this is a good choice. The food taste good, cooked basic without much seasoning. Nothing fancy just good home cooking. You get a tray, pick what you want and the line servers hand you the choices cafeteria style. Cost $10+ a.meal after drinks. Which is reasonable due to the large portions. Try it out if your in the mood for good home kicking.
