Leonore's Pizza

This place was great! Ordered a small meat lovers and some wings. Pizza is thin crust and made fresh. It was hot and they are very ample with the toppings. Great stuff !!The wings were fantastic. The owner recommended the house blend sauce. It was amazing!! You also get the whole wing, so it is double what you would get normally get. I would definitely buy here again.

As always Lenore's makes one of the best pizzas in Roanoke and now we have 2 locations. Downtown for a nice seat dinner and this new location just perfect for a quick to go order.

I found this place by door dashing an order one day and eventually I had to try it out for myself. Food is amazing and might I add this is one place in the area you can get chicken wings that are sold as a whole wings.
I also want to add because of another review posted that most calzones anywhere are made with ricotta cheese if it’s not what you like go with a Stromboli.

My son and I just tried this place for the first time and we are happily surprised with the excellent quality and good flavor of their pizzas.

We tried the "Meat Lovers" pizza and it was delicious!!

Look carefully as the place is not so visible from the street, a good reference is to look for the "karate" sign, this resraurant is besides the AFK karate dojo and behind the AMC movie theater.

Their calzone only has ricotta cheese. Evidently You have to ask for mozzarella. So, my wife had a calzone with only pepperoni and ricotta cheese in it. I've never heard of a calzone without mozzarella. As with many other restaurants, they don't give you much sauce. A couple tablespoons at best. The sauce seems to have too much pepper. It just didn't taste right. The crust was a little overcooked and just ok tasting. I had a specialty calzone, the margarita style. Plenty of toppings and would have been good if the crust had not been overcooked. I really like their downtown Venezuelan restaurant, but I don't think I'll be recommending this one. Judging from their other reviews, maybe we just caught them on a bad day
