The Gauntlet Golf Club

Challenging layout, tight. Lots of forced lay-ups, unless you're feeling frisky about cutting doglegs. Pace of play bogs down in some spots, e.g. Holes 6/7 (Par 3 followed by a driveable Par 4). As of mid-August 2018, the course is in *okay* shape: fairways were decent, but greens are in full-blown recovery mode from a pythium blight outbreak earlier in the summer. (As a result, they were offering discounted greens fees and bounce back coupons.)

Best golf course around. Kept up nice, the people in the pro shop and bar area will always treat you good. Love playing here

Nice place to golf, or go into the club house and have a snack, sandwich or drink. The course is in good shape. Course is easy to follow. Greens are medium fast when dry. The course has roing hills and elevated greens. A range finder is recommended. The distances are not marked well. I personally enjoy playing this course. The staff rates 5 stars.

I had my wedding there in November. Let me just say that my experience was awesome! The food was great, the place was beautiful. And the staff was very flexible and helpful- especially Kayla. She made the wedding planning process for the venue so easy! I highly recommend anyone having a wedding or special event to have it here.

This course will make you think. You must be willing to hit every club in the bag if you plan to score well here. Lots of risk/reward options from the tee box. Don't expect super fast and smooth greens, this is not an exclusive country club. However the staff will treat you like it is. Great course for the money and you better bring your A game or it will eat you alive.
