    Freshest ingredients, chef knows what he's doing! Definitely a great stop. Best food I've had in a long time.

    First time at the shack. An incredible experience to say the least. Worth the 30+ minute drive from Harrisonburg. The food was fantastic, service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was homey. Worth the price. Will be going again!

    Very unique small. Very personal service. Food excellent . Choose from small chef designed but diverse menu. Locally source food. Enjoyed it

    The food here is amazing. The banana pudding was out of this world! I love how they incorporate seasonal vegetables into their dishes such as the ramp and pistachio pesto which was very tasty. The staff, as well as the atmosphere, are super friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to eat here again!

    Very good food! Great service and attention to detail. You can tell the chef actually cares. Had the best banana pudding of my life!! The music was kind of loud and this place can get pretty noisy inside but it’s small so you have to expect that. I will definitely be visiting again!
