Black Eyed Peas

The food is seasoned well. Some say the catfish is a little bit salty for their liking. I tried the jumbo shrimp, and it was delicious. Love the potato salad as well. It's fresh. The corn bread is free!

We went here for Mothers Day, it was our first time. There was a man playing live jazz and some good songs too. The food came out hot. The cornbread was good and sweet. The collard greens were very good along with the Mac N Cheese. My husband enjoyed his fried turkey chops. I got the fried chicken, and it was season nicely. My nephew even had ribs, but they don't give you many, though. The sweet tea is also good here.

Me and my wife came to check it out a day after seeing a movie. The did not disappoint. We got jumbo wings, yams, greens, and macaroni and cheese. We also ordered a side of whiting fish. The Chicken and the fish was fried to perfection. The chicken and the fish was seasoned also perfectly. The greens were so good one of my favorite foods is greens and it was delicious. The greens were clean and cooked and melted in my mouth. The sweet potatos were pretty good not a big fan of them but these were pretty good to sweet either they were good. My wife had the Mac and cheese in which she said was delicious. The food was nice and hot through and through. The server Dani was super sweet and also made some recommendations as well. Outstanding customer service. This place should be packed!!!! I will def be back. ❤️

My mom has been talking about this place for a while, so I took her out for lunch on her birthday. She loved it, still talking about three days afterwards. I really enjoyed the carrot souffle, that gets 5 stars in my book. Everything on the menu is good, but soul food/country cooking is always good.

The food here was delicious and served hot. Everything was seasoned to perfection and myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The fried chicken was crispy and not over cooked. The shrimp was plump and juicy. I recommend coming to this place for some excellent soul food.
