Brass Bell Steakhouse

The food is pretty good. The service can be slow sometimes (but not always!) It's a nice neighborhood bar/restaurant.

Brass Bell is a Bayside neighborhood treasure. We lived here for many years before going to the Brass Bell because we thought it was just a bar. It was recommended by so many friends and neighbors we finally tried it and were hooked! Part sports bar, part pool hall and part family restaurant. All total, neighborhood hangout. Nothing fancy in the decor but the food is reliably consistent and good! Great steaks, burgers, sandwiches, and seafood. The only disappointment is they serve margarine instead of real butter with the bread and potatoes. Food this good deserves real butter. Prices are very reasonable and there are daily specials. We haven’t been impressed with the table service but get great service when we sit at the high bar or order to go.

When we first walked in this place. I thought we had made a mistake.. we brought our children and had 9 people in our group. There was not a lot of space here.. BUT some locals playing pool noticed our large group and offered up to move their stuff so we could have the long table to fit everyone together! This group of guys were so great!! Super friendly and joked with our kids and family!! The waitress was excellent! She was on top of anything and everything we needed!! The Food was AMAZING! Everyone loved their food. Even all the kids!! This is a local joint and the atmosphere was awesome!! I couldn't of asked for a better dinner out with our family while on vacatuon!! Would love to see this business expand!! I look forward to coming back when. We are back in town!

Very nice place and the food and service were excellent. It got a little loud when 3 couples came in and sat at the table next to us. The 3 women were excessively loud... so much so that we left earlier than we wanted to. Other than the 3 loudmouths, we had a very enjoyable dinner. Highly recommend this cozy little steak house.

The food was AMAZING! Such a find in a small little bar. Food came out fast and waitress was so friendly even tho she was slammed busy. Will definitely visit this place again when we come back for vacation
